nxIsoBuilder - Not the only thing rising from the grave...

by Neo Binedell · 01/20/2011 (7:55 am) · 5 comments

Well it seems that 2011 has brought about a refreshing return to what could be the GG we loved (and perhaps dropping some of the bits that we hated).

Just as I posted the last blog the big axe landed from on high and the Torque world was no more. To tell you the truth I was relieved. I had no great love for the way things were going IA/TP wise and I would not have to swim those waters after all. Fast forward to well, tonight, and what do we see but a return to old ways of the Garage dojo, something that has lit me on fire again to get involved and contribute, and so as soon as the dusts settles around here I will be looking at where the Iso Builder fits in (as well as anything else I can come up with).

In the meantime I will be dusting off the code and get back on track - a focused commitment to give T2D some isometric awesomeness...

Great news, Neo :)

Seeing the GG name back sure makes the day brighter.

That's great to hear. I have been wanting some Isometric support in TGB for some time now

Neo, do you have an estimated release date? I was hoping to use just such a feature so I will have to shelf that game. Well actually do it with a plan view and hope that your iso map can be an upgrade!

Posting nearly 2 years after the fact, but is there any life left in this project?? The 2D community could really use a resource such as this!
Please let us know if there's any hope for this!
