nxIsoBuilder - The Revenge

So I slowly start coming back to life a year later. I spent 6 months last year watching a brain tumor turn my mother into a zombie and finally kill her, then moved countries... twice... I will leave it at that...

To say the least that really dampened my enthusiasm for, well, pretty much anything. So now that everyone is nice and depressed perhaps I will put a silver lining on this cloudy blog and say that if anyone is still interested I will be cutting the iso engine down to the very core and release as an Early Adopter, say, just the rendering bits to start with, the major driving force being to JUST. SHIP. IT. Perhaps something I should have done from the start but thats how it goes. Then I will put back features as and when they are needed to cater for actual need by you the guys using it as opposed to what I think is cool that week.

Now that the next version of T2D has been moved out (and from the looks of it, for some awesome reasons, many of which made me consider working with T2D again), I thought there would still be a bit of a window to use the iso stuff as is with an upgrade or cross grade path once the next version is out and I write a new renderer for it, etc.

What say you...

sorry to hear about your loss. It would be good for you to focus on other things now and get back in that driving seat again with some normality in your life once again. Best of luck. Look forward to the release.

I, unfortunately, understand how watching cancer take a parent can affect you and your motivation to do things. I'm sorry to hear about that.

Been wondering if you were going to resurface; I've learned a ton from your old posts and see your initials in the TGB script source often. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with the iso kit.

I am very sorry for your lost. I lost my father this year so I understand that loss of enthusiasm and how bad it can be.

I would love to see the iso engine get released. I've been waiting for it for quite some time :)

Good luck Neo and I look forward to seeing what you release!

Sorry Neo, sounds like a rough time. Well, I'd be interested in that ISO kit.

Sorry about your loss, Neo. I lost my mother-in-law to cancer.

The ISO kit would be amazing.

Hey sorry about that man.

Any word on the ISO kit? I'm new so I didn't have to wait 5 years :). Are you planning a release soon? I would definitely buy it. Otherwise I would start working on a crappy implementation myself.
