Wow, ton of great stuff this week!

Journal Land Pick of the Week

OddGames development journal - Congrats to O-san on the release of his latest App Store game Path Wizard! He's got a look back over the game's development as well.

Project Updates

* Chronicles of the Hieroglyph - Jason Z has gotten Lua scripting integrated into the Hieroglyph engine and has pushed the latest source code copy onto the repository

* Sir Sapo... The Man ... The Legend - An Angels2X tech update from Sir Sapo. So nice of him to take a break from pulling hard G's to post some sweet screens. No, I'm not jealous or anything. Although I do fully approve of the example picture at the end.

* Radioactive-Software - dgreen02 had a major save (sounded like a miracle to me) that allowed him to present his demos to an unsurprisingly wow-ed publisher, and in addition to that story has several pics he took from around and in E3

* Once a Bird - Demosthenes has a new game ready for testing by any Creators Club members - Avatar Man is his first game using MS Avatars that is based on Pac-Man

* IfThen Software LLC - the latest newsletter features concept artwork from Merki, along wth regular columns From the Programmer, Artist's Easel, Community Spotlight and Funny Quote of the Week

Gamedev Stuffs

* Journal of dbaumgart - dbaumgart attempts to fill in the infamous gap that comes between "Make Game" and "Profit". There's a lot of work that goes on in that space - testing, marketing, etc. Details, details, details!

* Adventures in Game Design - zer0wolf tackles the tough issue of cutting things from your game. There are several reasons to cut - making deadlines, tightening up gameplay, because you're told to... the hard part is deciding what needs to go and why

* Digitanks Development Journal - BSVino talks about why multiplay in your game can be tough, but worth the effort as he looks over various options for how to integrate multiplay into Digitanks

* Just Glad to Be Here - rmadsen continues his talks on formal game development education, taking a very close look at what students experience at Full Sail, the school his son attended. Definitely worth a read even if you're not considering attending Full Sail, but are looking for a formal game development education.

Other Stuffs

* Any Colour You Like - benryves goes into detail on booting CP/M 3 from an SD card. Yes, I'm totally just swiping his entry titles and sticking them into sentences. I fully admit this.

Thanks for dropping by Mathucub, lilljohan, ozak, evolutional, Aardvajk, blewisjr
