Journal Land Pick of the Week
Continuous Refinement - superpig pops in to talk a bit about the new federated identity feature for V5. Yep, you can now register or login with your Facebook/LinkedIn/OpenID if you so wish. You will also be able to link your V5 account to these services to keep certain data updated automatically between the sites. Ironically, superpig talks about the pains of storing Facebook data just days before Facebook changes all of that :P (unfortunately, not for the better in the eyes of many people)
Welcome back, alfith (I guess more like "good to see you again", really :P)!
From the Staff
* Gaiiden's Scroll - just me popping in to talk about the new front page box ad. I just didn't want people thinking new ad boxes/banners are going to start popping up randomly all over the website
Project Updates
* The Code Zone Bargain Basement Blog - johnhattan has video of him demonstrating the new Pop Pies Portable on the Android phone
Development Stuffs
* Chronicles of the Hieroglyph - Jason Z suggest you head over to check out some nVidia articles/slides/videos on their site from GDC10, including DX11, Metro 2033 info and gaseous fluid simulation
* Under a ShadowyTree - Black Knight uses built-in data to ensure his game doesn't crash when it can't load a missing texture file. Simple, but effective.
* You Gotta Squeeze Every Pixel - in looking into design patterns, Staffan E was suggested to check out "The Universal Design Pattern" article written by Steve Yegge. He gives the article a thumbs up.
Other Stuffs
* jpetrie's journal - jpetrie discusses his 5 days with an iPad, and why the relationship was so short
Thanks for dropping by Trefall, Prinz Eugn, Matt328
