Bitgap Games' THIS.. IS.. TORQUE! screenshot contest is over! Everyone who is a licensee of any Torque product can vote for a favorite entry until the 25th of November.
I'd like to express my thanks to everyone who has contributed art to this contest. My goal was to show everyone around what Torque is capable of, and I think that - in the very short time frame of the contest - you guys have managed to make some jaws drop.
I also want to apologize because the entire contest was on for only about five days. It was just not enough to prepare with an entry for many of you. I am confident that the success of this contest will pave a road to more contests in the future.
Thank you once again for all the entries.
Keep in mind that only your very first vote will be counted would you cast several votes. To review the prizes of the competition, please visit the contest thread.

I vote for 19. I think 20 is pretty much the clear winner so far, so might as well vote for someone else :-0.

Colorful, meticulous art work based on an original style/flare. Great use of color theory. ..and it's funky!
- I know that I have enjoyed looking at everyone's hard work. Thanks to Konrad for making this happen! Best of luck to everyone!
//@Xerves: :O ..vote for which one you like most!
//edit: the nipples in 14 follow me like eyes in an old painting. :P

I vote for #20. Love the detail, composition, detail, coloring, and detail. Did I mention detail?

I think a lot of those are good screenshots, although I'd make the observation that they're good in very different ways.I vote for #20. Love the detail, composition, detail, coloring, and detail. Did I mention detail?

16 has my favourite modelling style, I just wish there was more of it in the scene, so its down to 15 and 22 for me I think. So I'll vote for
#15
since 22 has had plenty of love already.

tough choics alot of amazing stuff, from everyone who voted, my favorites are 7, 9 and 20, i am going to go with 20 for my top choice, mainly because ive seen 7 somewere before (arent those buildings from an art pack? not sure), and 9 while its atmosphere, and feel are amazing it doesnt seem very original, and while 20 is very similar and has the feel of modern warfare and also doesnt seem too original the composition, lighting and attention to detail are fantastic! so my vote is for #20!

@Novack: yes i remember. They didn't have much imagination for names on that series though. I mean the hero is a guy so they called him He-Man, the villan is a skeleton so they called him skeletor. And later they had a sister series with He-Man's sister or cosion or what was it and since she was a girl they called her She-Ra. lol

Great use of models and colors. It's nice to see so many models in one shot!
Job well done!
7, 16, and 19 are also badass, but my vote goes to 20.
=)
