Journal Land Pick of the Week

Skipping a D - It's time for a community support featured post: JPatrick details the detective work in unraveling a bug in his code and is left wondering: Is calling back into CLR code from a native fiber known to be unsafe?

Welcome back, Trefall!

From the Staff

* Gaiiden's Scroll - Sitrep covering the GameX conference, new type of articles, the webcast I was interviewed on, and where to find downloads for the GDNet book collection companion files

* The Code Zone Bargain Basement Blog - In case you somehow missed it in the sitrep above, johnhattan has the links to all four books, two of which have files that you can download for source code.

Project Updates

* Robot, Ninja, Pirate, Monkey - Slather has a new demo up for his top-down sea creture game Aquarius

* Raptor's Den - Raptor85 has another update and release to his sprite editor, including the ability to load, scale and trace over a background image. Nice!

* Journal of matt_j - matt_j has a shot of his engine running full steam ahead on the iPhone.

* OddGames development journal - O-san has a YouTube video up demonstrating the gameplay behind his iPhone game Apple Catcher

Game Dev Stuffs

* Tachyon Wars - johny5 has refactored the Theora Video Plugin for Ogre, fixing a number of threading issues and re-uploading it. He's also made a quick new Tachyon Wars video to show off the high-res capture performance

Other Stuffs

* Under a ShadowyTree - We're all tech nerds here, so of course we're going to gawk over nice build images of Black Knight's new rig

* DruinkJournal - Evil Steve is all set to launch himself into low orbit
