What happened to everything

It seems that nothing works here anymore. I just tried to get to some of the tutorials under the documentation for TGE and it just brings me right back to the home page. I tried another one and it took me to the basic tutorial for gui instead of the one that I wanted to look at. Also what happened to all of the links that was on the community pages. I was following a post from someone in the associates link and now those are gone. Why change something that is working fine and then also burry erverything to make it hard to find. Not very smart in my opinion.

In the mean time if you look at www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/15985 Orion has been really helpful and written a little page to convert links from the old to new format so you can still get to your pages whilst they work on the fix.

There have been a few bugs in converting the site over to the new format, GG are working on a fix to the old links not working that should hopefully be sorted tomorrow (or monday if not).In the mean time if you look at www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/15985 Orion has been really helpful and written a little page to convert links from the old to new format so you can still get to your pages whilst they work on the fix.

@Kevin - I'm still reworking the links in the documentation. I think I overlooked a couple, so I'll be handing off my changes to the web team soon.

Michael, why doesn't the web team simply create an Apache rewrite that redirects all old resources to the new ones, or creates a script to handle it?

However, I want the Official Docs and Landing Pages to use the exact links on the current site in case something happens later.
If there is a specific tutorial you need, you can e-mail me directly and I will get the right link or send you the files.

@Frogger - I think they are doing that anyway, since I have a lot of forum posts that I do not want to change. However, I want the Official Docs and Landing Pages to use the exact links on the current site in case something happens later.

Michael, it would be nice to e-mail you directly but again they have taken those away so unless you post your e-mail that isn't an option that anyone can do. Also why did they take away the option to stay informed when a new post is added to a blog or resource.

The following has been fixed today: - Redirect URLs should now be working: HUGE thanks to Orion for his short-term solution.
- Missing forums have returned: iTorque, GreenEar, and Collada are all available. We also pulled Constructor out of the Artist Corner into its own category.
- International Sales: There is now a Country drop-down list on the billing information form, this should help our international customers.
- What's my password?!: There's a new reset password option on the login page in case you're having trouble logging in.
- TDN lives: You should be able to log into our online wiki once again.
- Download links have been added to resources: So now you can get all those files back.
- Return of Watched Threads: All of your previous watched blogs and threads have magically returned (don't worry, it won't remove any you may have marked as watched since the new site went up).
- Edit comments on forums and blogs: Fear typos and 1 am comments no more!
- Unread forum threads functionality is back: You can mark all forum posts as "read" so you can always log into the site later and see what's been happening in your absence.
- The Markup Lite cheat sheet is back: No more guessing to try to remember how to add a video or otherwise pretty-up your post. [li]Tweaked bulk accounts for educators: It should be easier now to manage student licenses if you are working for a school.
