Torque X Notes

I've been spending the past week learning Torque X / TGBX, and at the same time learning C#, learning using the TGBX editor (in my previous game programming projects, I got by encoding maps in text files :( ), etc. I must say that it has been a very pleasant experience, especially with the GarageGames forums.

Among the TGBX learning resources, I found the Blaster/Microbes tutorials most helpful, and they seemed to demonstrate the best practices for writing Torque X games. To help me absorb better the material contained in those tutorials, I came up with some Torque X Notes, in which I attempt to extract step-by-step instructions from the tutorials and put them in a more general setting.

I made these notes for my own personal use, but I thought that someone else may find them useful, so I posted them online.

If there are people out there who would like to add to, improve, or correct the notes, I'd love to hear from you :). I'm hoping that this will eventually become useful to a lot of people.

Hopefully, this will be the start of a fruitful journey with Torque X / Torque technologies in general towards making fun games :) .

Thank you so much for the encouragement, Thomas! :) I must say that I'm really impressed with TXB ;) , a very pleasant change from the other game programming tools that I have used in the past. Thank you so much again for this amazing product :)
