Well it seems that 2011 has brought about a refreshing return to what could be the GG we loved (and perhaps dropping some of the bits that we hated).

You've been patiently waiting and the time has come. GarageGames is back! We've changed our name back to GarageGames and we are dropping the prices on all products to $99.00 to celebrate our new direction and return to our indie roots. It's been a crazy ten years for the GarageGames name and we are looking forward to ushering in the next decade.

We've had to make some hard choices about the future of some of our products. Check out this blog to learn more about our near term road map.

Another AoD video, covering player choices in the game and giving a brief description for several of gameworld factions. Narration and pleasant T3D-powered views included!

I am posting a video of some work in progress. It is of basic level testing. The game engine is the Torque 3D engine, and it is a build just for level building I use. The NPC's are in an inactive state since this is just testing the maneuverability and clearance of the player in a crowded level.

Step 1 to create an IK system, and Player to Ragdoll to Player blending completed, with a video to illustrate both these concepts in action (from unreal engine3), and videos of what I have achieved in step one of this proccess.

This week like all the last weeks, I was supposed to create the dispel magic spell. Instead I was always derailed into other spells which called my attention and in this case are fireballs and fiery hands.

First, a little background: Space Ruckus: The Great Invasion began as a fledgling 3D GameStudio project. Very little design work was accomplished, and so, we made the decision to migrate everything to a new engine. That engine was Torque.

Torque Game Builder Game "Potentia" game play video. Created using Torque Game Builder with heavy C++ modifications. Game was created using 90% C++. I buy as much stock artwork and 3d models as possible but create the rest of the artwork, animation and special effects myself.

Hello again I have finished off another section of me list of to do. This video shows how to create a store with a given set of items. It also shows how to use the item creation tab in the RPG Editor. Also though its not seen. The inventory system is in place to be used for the store.
