Progression update on the component/behavior system as polish and wrapup continues. I also ask about what genre people want to see made in a demonstration of the system where I use it to build a prototype game.

This week the project has gone through a myriad of changes, many of which have completely changed the design of the game moving forward. In this blog I'll review some of the bigger challenges I've had to face and how I'm overcoming them. While finally coming to conclusions about the size constraints of 'Biomes' loading into a World, some interesting new ideas have come to light and are being implemented.

I'm surprised at just how many people keep using a piece of software I wrote in my spare time, even nearly ten years after its initial release and five years since any major update. Well, it's open source now!

Several years ago I began down a track of integrating C# with T3D and it hasn`t been an easy venture. It started out simple enough, just wanting to be able to call static C# functions from T3D. After three years of development we are finally wrapping up our new game engine, OMNI.
