At the moment, to be honest I'm trying to use as little amount of software as possible. I don't believe it would be time well spent, as I do not want to spent too much time on learning many apps, and polishing graphics, I just want to block things out. Such as how things like doors work.

My life is... a little messed up right now. I'm currently not working, but that's only one of the problems. This means though, that I have some free time to look at Garage Games products. Though, I may end up working in a couple of weeks, and then will not have much time to mess with applications such as Torque 3D.

Finally got lock on working after failing with the algorithm. There are still issues when locking on to moving characters, the character jitters...

This month I created a Torque2D game called Space Pong following a do it live example from Garage Games. -- Lots of experimental art this month. Most of it's pretty ugly, just me looking to see if something would work or not, but here's a mug-in-progress you're going to learn to hate one day:

This is the second movie of the game Proton. It shows you, what i did the last 2 weeks. I created the 2 first levels. The game got a 2 team system for multiplay. I had also a lot work with the capture flag system. But now it works fine with multiplay and teams can enter the flags. I did also some test with a flying vehicle, but i dont think this game will get flying:).

Over six years since I was last active on GarageGames, 6 years after moving away from game development to pursue a new career, and here I am again. Life really is a big circle.

T3D's use of physics allows for some interesting models to be created. In this package I use PhysX joints for several while the other models use the Shape&Damaged Debris feature.

Distressed Robot Labour is the brain child of myself and my peer Sam Read. We are both first year students, moving to second year in September, on Huddersfield universities computer game design course. My own area of expertise is 3D which I have been self teaching myself for quite some years now and Sam is a game designer and jack of all trades (and a heart of gold).
