Physx Breakout

I wasn't going to write a blog, but the second page of the breakout contest doesn't seem to be working right now so I'll post something here.

And then we were 14...

We decided we'd finally learnt enough. The tech and resources we needed were in place and we were ready to fill some seats ...here's what happened. ...and there's still room for one more.

3D Positional Voice Chat for Torque3D

I have developed a Green-Ear similar technology based on a famous voice messaging system. My current implementation is fully integrated into Torque3D engine. And the server is available as a plugin for torque, as a new object for the console/scripting (for example, the instance of the torque that acts as host, will also provide voice services), or as a standalone executable to install on a different machine.

Re-Spawn: DEMO Coming Soon...

I have been diligently at work for a couple of months now to get the Re-Spawn DEMO ready for release. The primary idea behind the release of the DEMO is to allow me to use it to try and get some funding for the game through IndieGoGoGo. I need about $2,500.00 to finalise the game and release it through Steam - more if I want to Self-publish on my own.

Ecstasy Motion Gets Help (File)

Whoops, how'd that whole month go by already? I had planned on blogging a couple of weeks ago, to tell you about my exciting new HELP FILE(!) and all the bugs I had just fixed... but, in true, classic living-the-dream indie style, I accidentally found myself diving into some massive amazing new feature creep instead, and... another couple of weeks flew by. (Oops!)

Game Developers Conference Identity Crisis?

However, I wonder what the identity of the show is now? In the early days (early 90s), it was clearly a developer show and it felt more like a gathering at somebody's house than a commercialized show. Of course it is much bigger now, more commercialized and the audience now includes education, indies and 2000 ways to monetize your game.
