MoCap Day 1.5

So I promised we'd report back on our Budget MoCap trials... paid work commitments have prevented me doing so sooner, but ...public holiday in the UK today (which generally equates to a busy EiKON Day) so here it is.

Stepping out of the shadows!

I've been lurking for about 5 years, with only a few blog/resource replies here and there. I've always wanted to share blogs with the community, but I've never had anything to share! Until now, that is.

This is Cascadia Games' third year in the app store. I've collected data on price versus volume versus profit to help answer the question: What's the best tactic to make the most of the iPhone marketplace?

Torque 3D 1.2 - Chinatown

Welcome back to my blog series regarding Torque 3D 1.2. This week I am going to go over the new demo level we have been working on that will be part of release. My last blog ended with a screen shot teaser of the level we have been working on codenamed Chinatown. While still a work in progress I wanted to show off what we have, talk a bit about the team currently working on it and discuss its history a little bit.

Obscure Games: Snatcher

Snatcher is an adventure game not unlike Maniac Mansion and the old Sierra point and click games. You play out the role of Gillian Seed, a J.U.N.K.E.R. (read Harrison Ford in Blade Runner). The story starts with Jean Jack Gibson another J.U.N.K.E.R. getting killed by a snatcher(read Terminator). You have to figure out why he was killed and who was behind it.

Strategy Gameplay CivLite Hexagon Hell also Dirigibles

Does exactly what it says in the title ... I think ... Behold the wonder of hexagons! Behold not very good mathematics for procedural placement. Also behold Dirigibles. Have you beheld? Then good.

Really Really Good Things Studio Triples in Size!

Hey everyone, no I didn't gain 390 pounds! I've taken on as apprentices my son-in-law, Aaron and youngest son Josh. They'll be doing various tasks that I just can't seem to get the time to do, and hopefully earning some money in the process.
