Important Update

by Eric Preisz · 12/23/2010 (12:01 am) · 465 comments

First off, I’d like to thank everyone for all of the kind words over the past couple of weeks. Your response has been overwhelming. A thousand posts is a new record for us and during this time I saw a bunch of notifications for Torque based games being launched. We’ve had to be quiet the past couple of weeks –I’m glad that you haven’t been. Everyone I’ve talked with mentioned how steadfast our community is and I couldn't agree more.

I wanted to let everyone know that we are no longer entertaining buyers at this time. Unfortunately, we aren’t going to be able to make any comments until the new year. Please stand by for more information and enjoy the holiday season. The future looks bright.

Happy holidays to everyone. I might just leave a copy of this update for Santa instead of cookies. I am sure he will leave me all kinds of good stuff.

....No longer entertaining buyers? hmm, couldn't possibly be that the IAC boys realized that Torque is a money maker apart from Instant Action could it? Nah...

You all deserve a good holiday break, enjoy it!

"The future looks bright."

Excuse my being skeptical, but when someone in charge tells everyone the future looks bright, I find it very hard to believe. Just wondering about my lic of the software and do I need to collect the data before it's gone?

@Eric

Hope I'm not reading to far into that, but I love the word "bright" just now. Even though I kinda am not usually out in the sun that often. ;-)

Happy and amazing holidays wished to everyone! :-D

@Lamont

You prrrrobably missed this repeated often in the last notice, but... Even under the _worst_ of circumstances (a) no one's gonna take away your license (period!) and (b) if you're worried about your downloadables just download them now and then you needn't worry. No trust needed, even, those are just facts...

@Michael

That was hilarious... HA!

And I'm honored you counted us worthy of the tradition!
