First off, I’d like to thank everyone for all of the kind words over the past couple of weeks. Your response has been overwhelming. A thousand posts is a new record for us and during this time I saw a bunch of notifications for Torque based games being launched. We’ve had to be quiet the past couple of weeks –I’m glad that you haven’t been. Everyone I’ve talked with mentioned how steadfast our community is and I couldn't agree more.
I wanted to let everyone know that we are no longer entertaining buyers at this time. Unfortunately, we aren’t going to be able to make any comments until the new year. Please stand by for more information and enjoy the holiday season. The future looks bright.

It's great to see so many familiar faces here. I still get a chuckle whenever I think about that epic cardboard fortress (thanks, Mich and co!)
Like you, I'm anxious to hear what Eric is going to announce. I'm glad to see so many Torque users still hanging around the site. I check in once in a while, when I'm not helping Jacob out with our project management tool. I think good things are still in store for Torque, and definitely in store for all the aspiring game developers here.
Cheers, and always, good luck with your games!

@Mich: I knew you'd posted that video I made somewhere because suddenly my Facebook profile started getting a lot of hits. :) It's great to see so many familiar faces here. I still get a chuckle whenever I think about that epic cardboard fortress (thanks, Mich and co!)

Just to let everyone know, the IRC channel will continue running since it is hosted separately. I'll be in there all night.

Yeah, I did happen to see Dave make an appearance. It's a little embarassing since I dont always associate the names of people in forums with blogs or other works they created. Kind of along the same lines: I have a friend who has been programming for years professionaly but never had an interest in game development. I was talking to him about the Torque engine and the announcement that was made concerning InstantAction back in November. We talked a little about game engines and optimization. He ended up emailing me a link about NVIDA perfomance tools with an article by Eric Priesz along with an amazon link to his book. Still nothing clicked until I looked at the article and saw Marble Blast. So all I could respond with was "Yeah Eric is the guy who delivered the bad news about Torque." Glad the news has gotten better.
Anyway. Good luck with LightWave. I have to settle with Milkshape until I can find an artist to produce unique work for my project.
