November Update

Today, InstantAction informed employees that it will be winding down operations. While we are shutting down the InstantAction.com website and Instant Jam game, Torquepowered.com will continue to operate while InstantAction explores opportunities with potential buyers for Torque. We thank all of our past and current customers for their support.

@Martin
Just a guess, but it may have been sold and could reappear. Look at what happened to Legion. Maybe you'll get lucky and see it again soon...

I do believe that lands squarely in the category of "greatly disgruntled high compliment"... :-)@Martin

Not suprising, I knew Instant Action wasn't coming back when they started to "redesign" their site.

@Jordan - I e-mailed you directly.

@Everyone - I just wanted to pop in and give a quick update. I've had dozens upon dozens of leads, phone calls, several on site visits, a drive to L.A., and a lot of coffee. Don't give up hope, things are going well!@Jordan - I e-mailed you directly.

Well, I haven't given up hope, but it's awfully difficult to use a keyboard with all your fingers crossed.

Was wondering to myself if David's "has been travelling" might contain such possibilities. Congrats on keeping your stamina up, and may good fortune pursue you as energetically. ((Heck, hope fortune does that for all of us workin' our various butts off in our own shops, emphatically. Yet we're focused or Torque's longevity here.))

We're all rooting for you Eric! Like I said before, I'm hoping Torque Powered will be around at least another 50 years... a lot of us in the community are not about to give up hope.

Are you still working on the final fixes to Torque 3D 1.1 - Beta 3?
When the final Torque 3D 1.1 will be released?

Considering what we've been told & seen here/elsewhere -- if there *is* anyone working on that, quite likely they're doing it on VOLUNTEER time. I wouldn't count on it. But: if there is someone actually doing that I thank them profusely. That's above and beyond any reasonable expectation of them personally. By miles. (I wouldn't be *totally* surprised to find that out though, some of these folks are like that. I still don't *expect* it just now.)

@Everyone, sorry for the website bumps and 503 errors. We are moving a lot of services around that we shared with the other groups at InstantAction,inc. These things are going to happen...no need to assume that these are signs of us being in jeopardy. Please share this with others ( IRC or other ) if the site goes down again.
