- Steve obtained his Information Technology degree from
San Diego State University in 2001, where he also found his
passion for online games. He went on to work for
Sony Online Entertainment, a leader in the online gaming market,
where he quickly climbed the ladder to become a design manager
on the critically acclaimed sequel to what many have called
the founder of 3D MMOs, EverQuest. EverQuest II is considered
one of the best MMOs in the market today, and much of its
continued success can be attributed to the time period when
Steve was managing the EverQuest II Live Team, where the game
was transformed from its hardcore release version to a more
user-friendly and inviting game for new players. Those who have
worked with Steve know his passion for making top-quality
content, and his understanding of what makes games fun.
