Milkshape 3D plugin to export to MAP and its future

Perhaps some of you have used my plugin I created way back when for a export to MAP. This was inspired by some torque community users that wanted to see something that could be easily used, since a lot couldnt get the hang of MAP applications, but were familar with modeling tools. I was able to create the tool for the geometry export, but had trouble with the way to export the texture alignment for the Hammer MAP editor and other MAP creators. My solution was to just export all the objects with a setting to apply the texture with no scale or rotation. Lately I had some time, so I revamped it and was able to do proper scaling and rotation of the textures for exportation. You can see and example of this below.

Objects in MS3D

Export opened in Hammer

Now the future of this utility is that I am thinking that I will have it directly create the .dif, and for those that may want to use it in another game format, have a WAD export.

At present, this is only for my use, but the older plugin is still comes packaged with Milkshape3D.

I may be selling this version that does proper scaling and rotation the general public with the added features if I get enough response.

Some may ask, "Why not just allow it to be packaged with Milkshape 3D like the older version of this plugin?" Well, I have spent considerable time to get the code correct, and use it to create prefabs for clients that are using the Torque engine, (I get paid to do it), and my wife has had about 3 different surgies to overcome Breast cancer, and a lot of bills are piling up.

I thank the community for inspiring this plugin, and I can't say I had fun doing it!

Pirate Content pack for the RTS Starter Kit and Torque game engine

I am presently working on a content package that I will be releasing soon that contains models, and island mission files for a Pirate type of game. This will include Male and Female type of pirates, treasure chests, palm trees, buildings that will have a Pub for the mates to grab some grog, swords weapons, flintlocks, skeletons, and ships.

I already have a working island mission file, and trees, a building, a pirate, and sword weapon. I will get a screen shot of this when I get back from work, and perhaps a few more goodies to show off.
