Continutation of Blender Character

I have been so busy that I finally got a little time to go back to texturing my character. I haven't been on the site for awhile.

I just started on the arms texture so I am still working on them. Been so busy working on my site, it's mostly poser content I have created up right now but it is still new. I hope to expand it more.HB3DPortal

But I did make a category in the forums for independent torque developers can post their game screen shots and releases. And if you want to add a banner on my site to link to your site that is fine just email me and let me know and I'll place it in rotation.

When You Need Your Own Texture

Hello. Haven't really been on the site that much lately. Haven't even had time to play with Constructor :(. But anyway I found this and thought it would be interesting to share and quite valuable to a few of you,

http://www.mapzoneeditor.com-Mapzone

and it's free!! So in case you can't find the texture you are looking for, for your game you can try to make it yourself. :)

Back In Blender

It's been a moment since I posted. I was learning how to model in Blender and I got as far as modeling the head and some of the body. Today I took the time to texture the head.

I changed how it was originally modeled some.
That's all for now. :)

Coming Back To Torque

I have the wonderful book The Game Programmer's Guide to Torque and I am now testing out Blender being that a lot of people have been raving about it. So just today I have decided to sit down and play with it. This month has been so busy being that I design clothing for Poser that I haven't really had the time to play around with anything as far as game development. I want to continue on with my plan that I had laid for myself in my very first blog of a small game. So just a preview of what I have done so far today for blender
still a lot that needs to be done. But I will try to juggle Torque and Poser at the same time.

Till next time.

Let's Make...

I did this awhile back but finally was able to get around to converting it to pdf format. It nothing grand just something I created. I thought I will make little "Let's Make..." pdf books for newbies out there. What I'm trying to do is when I learn something new I make a tutorial guiding someone new to torque. Just a little something I wiped up.

home.comcast.net/~rustednailgames/LETSMake.pdf

Bored, So I Sketch

Yesterday was a slow day in the office that I got so bored. I played with Torque until I got frustrated, I checked all my email and I read through my vampire book. Until I came across a character that intrigue me. Raven, tall slender black vampire and it was just the way the author described her that just wanted me to sketch out how she might look if I did a character design for her. Mind you the proportions may be a bit off being that I only have beens around me to sketch. I liked the character so much I decided I would make her my own and put a story around her. What do you think?

Monday Sep 12 16:54

What I hope to achieve is great games and hopefully build up from those and upgrade my engine to Commercial. I really want to make horror based games being that I enjoy and love horror so much.:) Don't mind action/rpg based games either.

My first game is going to be very very very small and probably very very ugly. Just so I can get use to using the engine. It's going to be real simple. A young girl named Eliza and her friend gets off from Wendy's World late at night and decides to walk through the graveyard to get home quicker. While walking through the errie graveyard they get spooked out and are seperated. As Eliza walks through the graveyard to find out where her friend went to. The errie silence is broken by the distant cry of her friend. Eliza runs franticly toward the cries and stops at the foot of the woods. Her freind screams echoes through the woods as Eliza looks in.
