Stickman Studios started as two guys with a fantastic set of skills and a dream to "stick it to the man" (hence Stickman Studios). Working for a big game developer was a less-than-creative environment and less rewarding than they were looking for. In August of 2005, Harvey and "Nev" made the leap and officially became professional independent developers.

Buccaneer
When Buccaneer was just getting started, TGEA was still very much in development. The Stickman Studios team started with out Torque Game Engine, but when they saw the potential of the Torque Game Engine Advanced, they enthusiastically began working on porting their game to TGEA.

Stickman Studios hits the high seas with Buccaneer!
Gamers are not likely to ever find another game like Buccaneer. The game charges players with amassing "infamy" points (hence the subtitle The Pursuit of Infamy). Players can pillage, plunder and burn their way into the Hall of Infamy in a bid to win bragging rights over their fellow cut-throats.
