Black Jacket getting revved up for Metal Drift
We wish we had more to show you of this killer game, but the Black Jacket team are keeping it very hush-hush. Let's just say "watch out." We can tell you that it's a game of vehicular combat with weapons like you've never seen, refined physics for complex collisions, and mind-blowing visuals.
Brian and Weston will soon be cranking at full speed on this project. Look for screens and updates here in the future.
A little about Brian and Weston:
"I've worked as a programmer in the game industry for over 10 years around the country in New York, Arizona, Texas and more recently Oregon. During that time I've released a number of games; Tribes 2 and Marble Blast Ultra being the most notable. I've been working at GarageGames for 5 years now (has it been that long?!) It's been a blast!"

Brian Ramage, Black Jacket Studios and TGEA lead developer
"I started getting paid to make games at Dynamix. After a few months there I was transferred to the Tribes team and was one of the first artists to work with what would one day be the Torque Game Engine. On Tribes I was the primary texture artist, responsible for all the player, vehicle and building textures in the game. After Tribes I moved to Lucas Arts in the bay area for a year and a half. But Eugene called me back and I've been here for the last five years working freelance on a huge array of projects."
