Free Form Digital proudly presents its first contribution to the GarageGames content set The FF Digital: Urban Pack. This pack includes ten highly detailed static shapes, fully textured and Torque ready, offering quick dimension and realism to any game environment.

Commercial License

By adding items from the FF Digital: Urban Pack your project will quickly gain realism, game play complexity, and credibility. In addition you'll have completed, quality, functional game art that can be used as a template for future content.

These ten shapes are available for a fraction of the cost they'd take to create on your own. Contracting a professional to create this content would cost at least $2000, but these shapes can be had for less than $3 per shape.

Some other compelling reasons to purchase content packs:
  • Quickly prototype your game environments.
  • Solve the "chicken or egg" problem of needing to attract team members in order to build a product that is good enough to attract team members.
  • Free your team's artists to make game specific content, rather than spend time making commonly used items.
  • Use the 3D source files, textures, and exported shapes to learn how to build commercial quality art yourself.
  • Modify the source files provided in content packs to create your own unique art much more quickly than you could by starting from scratch.
  • Access commonly used items for a reasonable cost.
  • Each content pack has to go through a rigorous approval process designed by GarageGames so they are guaranteed to work, and they are of the highest quality.
  • The cost of each shape is a steal, considering how much time you would have to spend to create the shape and/or contract the shape out to an artist.
  • These shapes have been expertly tuned to work with the Torque Game Engine.
FF Digital is a AAA art studio, and our work is used in several commercial games. These shapes are the kind that are vital to creating a realistic, full game environment, but they can take artists weeks of monotonous work to create and get to shipping quality.

An empty room can become an exciting arena with a few cargo containers, crates and boxes. A few traffic cones, a dumpster and a chain fence will add credibility to your streets, alleys, parking lots, industrial sites etc. Mix and match to create a quick persistent atmosphere.

These kinds of objects are used throughout games like Half-Life 2, and these models and textures are of similar quality.
