The Castle Pack contains fully functioning buildings as Interior .DIF files. This pack is perfect for learning to design excellent interior models that work in the Torque Game Engine. You can dissect the pieces used to build these interiors and employ it as a template for your own designs. It is our intent that people share the knowledge they may gain from examining these shapes and give it back to the community.
The content packs were designed as part of a whole interchanging system of packs that work extremely well with each other for the best results. The assets in the content pack are made to be used in a variety of game genres from RPG, to FPS, to even RTS. Much, much time went into detailing each and every asset to work across as many mediums as possible while providing as much variety as possible without losing their connection to each other.
- You can experiment with a set of "widgets" that are beyond what is included in the Torque Demo Application.
- You can quickly prototype your idea, solving the "chicken and egg" problem of needing to attract team members in order to build a product that is good enough to "attract team members."
- It gives developers access to commonly used items for a reasonable cost.
- It frees artists up to make game specific content, rather than spend time making commonly used items.
- The content pack has to go through a rigorous approval process designed by Garage Games so they are guaranteed to work, and they are of the highest quality.
- The cost of the shape is reasonable considering how much time you would have to spend to create the shape and/or contract the shape out to an artist.
- These shapes have been expertly tuned to work with the Torque Game Engine

- Valid .MAP editor to use and open source map files.
- Valid .JPEG & .PNG editor to use and open source art files.
- Valid 3D Modeller application capable of importing .3DS files for DTS shape source.
- Windows 98/SE/ME/2000/XP is required to unpack the files.
