Conference
Indie Games Con (IGC) is an uncommon meeting of independent developers who share a common interest in collaboration and community building. More than just a seminar, IGC is an unprecedented opportunity to meet other Indie developers, professional guest developers and hardware manufactures. IGC strikes a unique balance between informative sessions, developer networking, product showcasing, awards and of course plenty of fun.Keynote Speech and Featured Speakers
IGC will showcase a number of featured speakers, as well as presentations from industry leaders and professional developers.Group Discussions
Responding to feedback from last year's IGC, this year's sessions will take the form of group discussions rather than formal sessions. Led by industry veterans, these focused group discussions are a great way to share and debate a number of topics with other developers, from art process to business, marketing and programming.Show-Off Center
The Show-Off Center is available to all conference attendees who want to "show-off" what they have been working on everything from finished titles to works in progress. This offers a great chance to take an early look at games in the pipe as well as an opportunity to get valuable feedback.Speed Dating for Game Pitches
Not sure that you, as a developer, got your game in front of all the people you needed to? Or maybe you're looking to publish a good game. Speed Dating for Game Pitches will help with both sides of the fence, pairing up indie developers with a series of potential publishers for a short show-and-tell before moving on to the next.IGC Player's Choice Awards
Several awards will be given out to attendees exhibiting in the Show-Off Center. All awards are based on attendee votes so don't forget to cast your ballot. This year's presenting sponsors are providing some great awards so don't miss out.Indie Idol
As part of the Player's Choice Awards, we will be presenting the culmination of our Break Into Games contest, an American Idol style show complete with comments from three industry expert judges.Kickoff Session and LAN Party
We don't close the doors at 5pm, so there will be plenty of time to socialize and network with other developers. You are welcome to bring your musical instrument and join the Kickoff Session Friday night. And for those of us who are tone deaf, there will be a casual LAN Party Saturday night. If you have a multiplayer game the LAN party is always a great place to stress test your creation and have some fun.Important details
