World Domination Through Collaboration
GarageGames.com

IGC is back! We used last year's "Not-IGC" get-together as a learning experience and tried to incorporate the casual camaraderie of that event into the best parts of past IGCs to create what we are hoping will be the best IGC yet. Round-table discussions on the topics you want to talk about, a show-off center to get your game(s) in front of some new eyeballs (and to check out what your peers are working on), and plenty of networking and gaming opportunities.

And we want you to be there! So mark your calendars, book your airline tickets and take the time off. Bring your games, your enthusiasm, and your appetites, and join us for an exciting collaboration of community and developers under one roof. Registration is $100 up until Sep. 16, and will increase to $150 on Sep. 17.

P.S. If you need more incentive, there will be vast quantities of beer available for consumption.

Are there any robber-friendly banks in the Eugene area? ;)

Hope it's awesome!

BRING YOUR GAMES EVERYONE! We want to see them.

Question: How do I show off my game?
Answer: One of the main reasons we have a ShowOFF center filled with lots of top-of-the-line computers is for you to show off your game. Just load up the game on computers and then get people to play.

Question: How do I nominate my game for IGC Player's Choice Award?
Answer: Just make sure you get lots of people to play your game and pimp your game shamelessly. IGC Player's Choice Award is chosen by the players of the games, thereby maintaining its name of IGC Player's Choice Award.

Can't wait to see a whole new crop of games, it's one of the most fun things about the event.

I'll be there. There isn't another conference more motivating than IGC.

Sweet! I missed it last year I must say...

Anton Bursch   (Aug 23, 2007 at 21:23 GMT)
Why won't there be any beer this year?

Rubes   (Aug 27, 2007 at 00:00 GMT)
I see there is an opportunity for us to show off our games, but besides some yet-to-be-determined roundtable discussions will there be any special speakers, lectures, or other similar conference-like activities planned?

Dylan Romero   (Aug 27, 2007 at 16:59 GMT)
@Anton: Reread my post. There will be plenty of beer, don't worry!

@Rubes: There will be a few more conference-y events, which will be announced in the weeks leading up to the conference.

I wish I could go this year, but I can not. :(
But I have a GREAT reason this time!
After 10 years, my wife and I are finally pregnant and are expectiong our first in October.
If only I could be two places at once...

For those that care, we are having a baby girl named Gillian Maddison Gage.

For those who have never been, IGC is a LIFE-CHANGING event.
If you can manage to get to Eugene, OR, then you have to go!
There is NO beter way to get inspired or to meet some of the most talented people in the industry!
