There are still plenty of features to be added before the TSE is complete. Here is a rough list of what is to come:
Dynamic Shadows - Support for shadows that allow models to self-shadow as well as cast shadows on their environment. This will likely be implemented as a stencil technique, but it may be done in addition to or instead of hardware shadow mapping.
Dynamic Lighting - The TSE will support mobile lights that attenuate over distance and shade bumpmaps.
Material improvements - Loading speed will be much improved. Many more options will be available for Materials.
Docs! - This is just the beginning, there's still plenty more that needs to get filled out even at this early release. More will come as the interfaces mature and we allocate more time to documenting.
