Plan for Eugene Goh

Last week was a very big week. My company, Nexgen Studio, showcased our wares at the Global Entropolis, an exhibition/conference event that was targeting entrepreneurs and enterprises. Yeah... we weren't too sure of the purpose of the whole event, but we were sponsored a booth by the Media Development Authority (MDA), a local government agency. And hey, free publicity is always good!
So we put on display our wares, including my 3 week Torque racing game (which I had to rip out all the logos and trademarks so we could use it), several mobile phone titles, and an Xbox title that our Italian partner is priming (we did the art). We met a lot of interesting people, ranging from academics to journalists to kiosk makers to just generally nosey people.
Also this weekend, that same racing game stars in Kia's (yay, I can finally say it) motorshow held at a local shopping mall. How they managed to get all those cars into the basement, I do not know.
The next two weeks will be spent making enhancements to the game, as we try to ride the momentum and hopefully pique some publisher, investor or divine interest. Somewhere along the line, we'll stuff the lighting pack in there as well.

Good work. What do you mean by ripping out the logos and stuff? Commercial License?

I couldn't even reveal the name of the game before today. lol.
Our company logo and the Torque splash page still remained of course.

No, it was before the motor show, so we had to take out the Kia and Cycle & Carriage logos, and use different decals for the cars too, not to mention all the in-game advertising billboards.I couldn't even reveal the name of the game before today. lol.
