normal maps for everyone!!

i was pokin around in ati's dev site and found this. It compiles to a simple app that has only a file dialog box,select the tga you want a normal map for and there ya go!

Last time I checked tga support in Torque was either stripped out or no longer used because it doesn't compile anymore.

I didnt think it ever did support it.There is a resource to add support though.

heres what i've been using this for..
basically follow this resource

substituting Cinema 3d for your 3d app of choice. Only in the last steps export to targa instead of using the cinema plugin. run it through this proggie. and instant normal maps!

ok, so now i have the normal maps, whoohoo! great!
but how can you add normalmapping to the torque engine?
sorry, im a modeler, so this is great, but im not a programmer and would like to know how to invoke the use of normal maps in torque.

This just converts a file to a normal map file. like how nvidia has there plug in for photoshop.
