About Quick Tips

My team wanted to do something for our Torque 2D community that would spark interest in our website and generate user interest; we wanted the community to know what we are up to. Previously we have created a Torque Script Video Series that has 3 videos, View Videos. We found that these videos targets only beginners and did not generate the spark my team was looking for. After a couple coffee breaks, my team has decided to switch development from the video series to PDF quick tips.

We hope the quick tips are useful for advanced users as well as beginners. We also hope we can cover more topics since they can be developed out of order. Tell us what you think!

We have moved to torquescripter.com and have lost the quick tips PDF.

Hello Kevin,

I bought the MIG Holiday pack and my only disappointment is the fact that there are no scripts in *.cs, we have only the *.dso.

But the package is awesome and fills full it's purpose. ;) Great Job!

Quick Tip #2 was released a little while ago. It teaches getWord(), and the following string operators: @, SPC, TAB, NL.

You can get it here: http://www.makingindiegames.com/QuickTip2_Get_Word_String.pdf

Thanks again for all the support. I wish you the best of luck with your projects.
