Google search of TorquePowered (GarageGames) site

Like most people (hopefully), I've turned to using Google to search the GarageGames site but I've grown very tired of typing in the site://www.garagegames.com bit. This is especially true when I want to only comb the forums, blogs, resources, etc.
In response to this, I whipped up this simple html/javascript redirect page to do the annoying part for you.
It essentially just tacks on your search terms and redirects to a Google results page.
Search on my friends...
Search the GarageGames site.
EDIT: I've update the link to get rid of references to TorquePowered. I still get quite a few people using this search tool, so I thought I'd give it a quick update. This does feel a little 1984'ish

Does it not like FF? Not getting any response when hitting the button.

I don't have any private forum access, so I didn't really think about that.
@Steve,
It appears it doesn't. Works in IE and Chrome. I'm running out the door, but I'll add the fix tonight.

I'm using Chrome, and whenever I type something into the text box and hit enter, after I get sent to google, the search bar displays "site:http://www.torquepowered.com Search". So it's not searching for what I type, it's searching for the word "Search."

You caught me in the middle of deugging the Firefox issue. It should be compatible *and working properly* on all browsers now.

Nice resouce! It's a shame that TP removed the GP (Google Powered) search when they updated the site. Well, this fixes that problem.

Instead, I hooked into the TDN search; you're going to want to be signed into TDN to use this.

Added support to search the TDN site. It's not using Google because I believe the authentication on TDN blocks the Google search bot.Instead, I hooked into the TDN search; you're going to want to be signed into TDN to use this.

...and you can pass it a query string if you'd like to link to it from the forums using the ?term= parameter like so:

A couple of minor improvements based on community feedback. The page now loads with the text input ready to type. Nice!...and you can pass it a query string if you'd like to link to it from the forums using the ?term= parameter like so:

I was just talking in IRC about this, and the unfortunate downside that you can't search the private forums... Now that we've got decent documentation, I'm thinking GG can say their next documentation push is to just get a proper search index on the existing forums.
