I went digging the other day through resources and forums looking for a resource, snippet and or an add-on for cross platform connectivity to a RDBMS. My initial thought was to use ODBC, but after a quick email to Rick O it dawned on me to K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid) and to stick with MySQL.

I wrote this code shortly after purchasing TGE in 2002, at that time there was no Fade effect for bitmaps in a GUI format. This ctrl allows one to fade in an image while fading out another or just to simply fade a single image out. Once the fading is complete it will pop the MainMenuGui.
