Generating real terrain from GIS data
After finding some hints in Kenneth Finney's book, I sleuthed around on the Web for a way to model real (not realistic) terrain and insert it in the Game Engine. This "how to" uses free(!) software to do all the work. My apologies if this is a rerun; I looked in the GG forums and resources and didn't see anything similar but I may have missed it. Apologies also that it's USA-centric.
