Script memory limits?

Hiya,
Does anyone know what the limits of the scripting language are in terms of memory? In short, how big a size can a scripted array be before things start falling apart? I ask because I had *very* strange effects back in Tribes 1.
Now, I know that Torque allows for C-implemented stuff to avoid encountering such limitations, but I'm curious anyway... ;)
