Interested in Torque. But I have a few big questions.

1) Is it possible to make a free game/piece of software with the Torque engine? Say, for example, a free to play MMO? Or are there legal issues with that? Do you have to make a profit?
2) It says in the feature list you can make things other than games with Torque. So, let's say I wanted to create a sort of "Machinima" animation production software, like the game The Movies in a sense. Is that possible with the tools provided with Torque?
