I just bought this book from barnes and nobles, I put the CD in my computer and it says on the back of the book it has Torque Game Engine 1.4 plus demo scripts, but when I put the CD in its supposed to give me some instructions, I tried exploring the Cd for a setup app, but i didnt find anything, all I found was TGE.exe, I clicked on it and nothing happened, anyone know what I can do?

When you put the cd in your cd drive the autorun should have started the install process. In case it doesn't, look for a file called autorun and click on it. That should get it started.

I don't have the second edition, so am not much help. The files and folders can be copied to your hard drive. From there, you can install the apps and torque from within the folders.
There should be a torque install.exe, milkshape, and a few others.

The book is an example of how to use the Script-Side of Torque and does not include any actual Source-Code, that being said the Demo gives you the script code and is a great tutorial on how to use TorqueScript and the Torque related tools needed to get you started.

Hope you find the book to be useful, because I did.(aswell as Advanced 3DGPAI1)
