TEP Community expanding for mappers

Right now my main focus is building a strong community over at the Torque Enhancement Project, who's goal is to make a community where artists, level designers, and programmers can work together, get critiques on their work, and help if desired.
We currently have a fairly strong programmer following, but my current project is to build up the newly created artist and level designer forums, where I am hoping that the members of each community will have the chance to post their work, and get the thoughts and comments of not only colleges, but also that of programmers and other groups, thus offering opinions from all facets of game development.
I am looking for artists and level designers to help TEP build up a strong community, and I thought I would send out a message to the GarageGames community, since it is primarily aimed at TGE development.
Already, several members have submitted very helpful applications to aid mapping and other art related TGE development.
Hope to see you there!

What is to come of what appears to be dead projects within TEP? IE: Dot3, Cg etc.. Cg has not had any activity forum wise sense I think 11/2002 and DOT3 was 2/2003 (until me post today).
Dont get me wrong, it is a great idea. From a users point of view, most of it looks dead (based on forum inactivity)

And to answer the other questions, yes, I'm that guy from Tactical Assault :) Right now we are re-working and improving the scripting infrastructure and putting in our first player model, weapons, and vehicles. Our goal is to get a basic team deathmatch going, and hen build from there.
And the Cg and DOT3 projects are on hiatus at the moment, unfortunately. Our lead programmer lost internet service, and has been pretty much out of touch ever since, so we basically lost him from the team. So we are trying to work from an artwork and scripting standpoint until we can secure a new programmer.

Yea, the main problem is that programming takes time, as you all well know. The problem with TEP now, is that its soley a programming community, so the fact that updates with coding are more spread out, it really stagnates the community, as people stop visiting due to lack of updates. This is why I am trying to build up a artwork and level design community, because those are areas of game development where you can see new work and progress every day, as opposed to the majority of the TEP projects. Also, a lot of people have brought up the point that the GG forums are much more geared to-wards programmers (which is very understandable), so I am hoping that TEP will allow artists to cultivate their ideas as well. And to answer the other questions, yes, I'm that guy from Tactical Assault :) Right now we are re-working and improving the scripting infrastructure and putting in our first player model, weapons, and vehicles. Oh forgot to mention enhancements. So far, there have been several. THe most notable one is the effort of several TEP members to improve upon the terrain manager, you would have to look under the TEP projects for more info on that (I would probably just mess up the explanation ;).
