AFX ROCKS!!!!

I have not had this much fun doing game design for a LONG time. I am using TGE and AFX has given me tools to do a lot of custom things in Torque that would be almost impossible for me to do otherwise given my time constraints.

All of the spells, the effects on other players are modifiable and you can really express a lot of creative freedom.

For example, I have been modified the Astral Passport spell to create a complex system of passageways and portals based on triggers. And the Occams' laser spell helped me to find a very useful way of loading in custom "helper" avatars that can come in and help fight battles for you, not to mention providing a good way to mount objects onto the player based on external events.

Additionally, the support has been incredible. My only lament is that I hope the community as a whole is able to support the work Jeff and whoever else is part of Faust is doing.

I personally hope that Garage Games can or already has stepped in to help support the resource, because something like that brings HUGE value to Torque and would definitely increase the value of T3D if it were implemented there. But it needs to be supported.

I'll support it with my cash purchase if it gets ported to T3d.

Yeah I hear you, just I can only imagine how much work it will take to do the port in the first place. I think GG should help to fund it. It would more than pay for itself in sales as a direct result of AFX being available for T3D, methinks.
