Colorizing textures in TGEA 1.8

I've seen a resource for tge that says it allows you to colorize the white/grayscale parts and ONLY the white/grayscale parts of a texture dynamically. Does this exist for tgea? If not, how would I do it in photoshop? Thanks.

I could really use this.

Can it be ported? Yes, possibly. But it would probably be easier, and make more sense, to use a "colorize" shader -- though the principle is equivalent. Again without source code access there's not much you can do to add such functionality.

Besides "setskinname", but that only allows you to use pre-determined colors. Besides, I DO have the source, my grandmother bought it for me for my birthday.

Well, can you apply shaders to specific objects dynamically?

There are too many ways to colorize a grey scale image in photoshop. Google your thoughts and I am sure you'll find a plethora of ideas and tutorials.

Besides, colorizing textures is easy. I just want to do it dynamically.
