Blueprints: Westock`s Garrison in detail

Hallo everybody,

As Pascal advised to move onto location concepts, here come series of concept pics for orcish garrison. I tried to create feeling of united location with garrison and its outskirts.
Garrison itself isnt too complex and it allowed to dwell into some details.

Westock's Garrison (freeservers template did not allow one more picture in this template so I located Graveyard concept in the very bottom of "RW art pieces" section #1. Guess I'll be short of templates in freeservers soon. Free webspace providers can sometimes be so picky :)

It's nice, but completely unmappable right now. You have to remember that we only have two types of models: the two towers and the three different types of houses. Aside from that, we have fences and some little decorative items.

Hopefully soon we'll have something new to work with... Maps just aren't fun right now with so few models, unless you want to stretch the curren things a lot, which is horrendously ugly.

Eli you forget that we have a large team of artists who are more than capable of building the assets that this map requires (especially since everything that is needed is listed and multiple concept sketches have been provided for look and feel), so I wouldn't discount this map idea becoming a reality.

Wow... looks like a lot of time was spent on that page. Well done. It makes me wish I had spare time to create it! :-)

Thanks guys. Fact that you like the concepts gives boost:)
I tried to not make buildings and surroundings too complex, my hope was that these can be modelled pretty easily (and badly maintained garrison idea allowed that).

I understand that these concepts will have to be tweaked anyway, not only for eye-candy purpose but also gameplay wise (theyre supposed not only look pretty but be fun to play after all:)

My next thought was small town in the ruins of much bigger ancient town, much more complex, but im not quite sure its the right way to go as it would doom 3D guys and texturers to eternal work on art assets.
