Creating a Team

My name is Andrew Sanders. I am currently trying to put together a team to help design a level of a game that will be used to present to publishers. The game will be for the xbox360. The main purpose of the level design is to showcase my idea and get funding to complete the project. I cannot promise payment, however, everyone who works on the project will get credit for his/her work. Also, anyone that is part of team, if we get the funding, will be on the team permanently and WILL be paid. My main goal for the team is that each person, will be in charge of their respective area, and if funding is attained, will stay on as department head of that area.
Jobs needed:
Character Design(both sketch and 3d rendered)
Character Animation
Vehicle Design
Level Design
Programmers(A.I., physics, hit detection, etc.)
I have also put together a business plan which is being submitted to various agencies for loans, grants etc.
Any questions feel free to ask.

if you think that everyone working for gaming companies like epic all contribute to the game only by the categories i have listed, then you really shoudlnt be on here making comments to me. there are writers, directors, managers, advertisers etc. all of these different people are just as in entitled to have ideas they want to build on as everyone else is. And for the record, I do in fact do some of the programming. And have been working on it for some time. But there are people out there much more skilled than I am in these areas and that is why I asked for help. If you have such a problem with it, then post on someone elses.

Perhaps you should give more information or a website where people can read more about your idea? As it is, The way you have things worded sounds very much like a fresh boot with a degree coming on-base and explaining to an E7 that he has great ideas for reorganizing maintenance schedules...
I suggest that you read the post at http://www.garagegames.com/community/forums/viewthread/84535. It is very, very useful... it is technically steered towards people creating an MMO, but most of the ideas apply to other projects as well.

Did I say I had a problem with it? I was asking for clarification, albeit in perhaps what might have come across as a snarky and sarcastic fashion.Perhaps you should give more information or a website where people can read more about your idea? andrew...you'll get a much better reception if you can post some of the artwork you have done in the past and publish a few code resources. As an Indy manager you'll need to be a jack of all trades anyway.

Really all your post amounts to is an "I have an idea for a game, come help me make it" and no-one is going to buy in with that little information.
Plus personally I dislike the snappy comments back to Brian - someone managing a team should expect to be challenged and have to deal with many different characters, personalities and conflict resolution. You didn't demonstrate to me any of those qualities in that response.

Sorry Andrew but you're unlikely to get much support with that ad, you're not mentioning anything about what the game is (even what genre), what you're experience is, any concept art or design info or really anything of any use.Really all your post amounts to is an "I have an idea for a game, come help me make it" and no-one is going to buy in with that little information.

You need every single part of a team that will actually 'create' a game, and you are 'doing' management and creative control? and you want people to do this with nothing more than a business plan and a game idea?
