New Team : New T3D FPS : Anyone interested in helping?

by Keith Killilea · in Jobs · 06/21/2009 (4:15 am) · 36 replies

Greetings !

I have been looking to re-start a new FPS / RTS since 2006, Terra: Formations (screenshots below)

riverplaygames.net/gss/Terraformations6.jpg

riverplaygames.net/gss/Terraformations1.jpg

With T3D as the choice of engine & web deployment as the end result, would anyone be interested in forming a new team to take Terra to a brand new height? Thanks for all those who are interested !

I am open to all who would be interested and this is currently a free gig until we reach certain milestones over the coming months. I would like to work with people who are interested in this title and who want to see it released.

Short background about myself: I have been a games developer & producer for 15 years. Worked on dozens of games / demos / platforms and been a long time supporter of GarageGames since 2004. I have worked with dozens of GarageGames Community Developers down through the years with demos and completed games, the talent here is first class with massive drive of passion, respects due!

If there is enough support to form a team, Terra: Formations will go ahead and will see a release before the year is out! Looking forward to hearing all of your thoughts, comments and feedback. :)

Keith,

Love the screenshots and artwork! Looks like a winner to me! I am interested in composing game music for this project. I can provide you with any style you like, all original.

My credits include work on "Ascension" by RenWerx Studios, a title currently in progress *which I can not disclose yet* for DarkWorlds Studios, and several radio advertisements for local business here in Toledo. I have a Masters Certificate in Arranging through Berklee College of Music and currently working on my BA in Film Scoring.

You can hear samples at www.euphoriamornings.com

Let me know if you'd like me to come on board!

Hi Kieth,

I like the looks of your project. I would love to help out if i can.

I do however have a few projects on my plate already. I am currently working with Edward Moyer on Fantasci Hidden War and a Mini Game. Plus 2 of my own projects, One being a Air Combat game centering around Battle of Britain, the other is a space simulation game similar to Freelancer. But i should be able to find some time to help out with scripting and art work here and there.

you can get me by email: roland 'at' rolanddynamics 'dot' com
or msn at: hobbes_78 'at' hotmail 'dot' com

Cheers,

Roland

Hello Keith!

I love the art I'm seeing, and I like the FPS/RTS + RPG style you're going for. I'm a story teller and game developer at heart. My best talents are in creative fiction, and a little bit in level design and testing.
I'm looking for free work for experience, and if you've any interest at all in having me on a team, please drop me an e-mail at NaralosUdal@hotmail.com. Also, please check out my blogs if you're interested.

Thanks for your time!

Hey Keith,

I was going to reply to this thread anyway but when I saw your location I realised I had to!

I'm working in Galway as a design engineer and I'm doing an online course over the summer in games design concepts. I use my free time in the evening to work on games design, modeling and to play games of course!

If you think you could use any of my skills I'd be more than happy to help!

Keith,

I am a programmer just about to finish my degree in Gaming and Simulation Development from Devry ( I graduate in October ). While I have over 10 years programming experience I am looking to get some serious experience in the game industry. I would be interested on working on your project if you still need programmers. I am currently residing in Florida, as I see your in Ireland just wanted to point this out.

Feel free to email me with question at dbudinsky@gmail.com

Do you already have a composer lined up for this game?..I understand that it is a late reply. If you do, I would love to collaborate or provide additional music. I am an experienced game composer, feel free to browse my portfolio at: www.aidinashoori.com
