Can Someone Define Transferable License?

by Mars Defden · in General Discussion · 06/19/2009 (1:48 am) · 3 replies

I just want to make sure what it entails, I'm guessing without one you can only have the program on one computer but with one you can have the program on multiple computers? I just want to make sure because I have several computers I do my work on and I'd like them to be on more than one computer.

Also, when you purchase one of the engines, do you download the program or does GG mail you an actual CD?

GG's lisence is NON transferable. That means you cannot give or sell the engine to someone else. You purchase the engine agreeing to be the only person to ever see the source code.

It's downloadable from the site here. Once your purchase has gone thru, you will see the engine show up in your profile under "my Products".

Alright so as long as I'm the only one working with the program I can have the program installed on more than one of my personal computers correct?

@Mars - Correct, so long as you are the only developer using those computers.
