Is it just me, or do the "Angel Smiles" look like Bobby from King of the Hill? (C: Cool plants, great art!

I'm glad you liked these...children of mine :D
@Joshua - i had always loved giving a bit of background feeling along with the pictures to allow viewers think a bit not only about the picture itself but also all the other possible pictures and concepts linked. (hmm, sounds strange in english, will you excuse me for that?:) i dont believe in inspiration, however, i believe that each shape, each line and form has its family and if you can draw one of them, the others in the famility will come along.
geez, im wabbling lunatic now, think its from lack of sleep.
@Jeremy - what is the King of Hill? a movie? i believe i havent seen this one. any good? "angel smiles" come from childhood books of mine. i dont remember the name of the illustrator but he (she?) used that "smaile-with-puffed-cheeks" quite often:)
@Cristopher - yes, i believe that maybe only a couple of them could make it into the game, but hey - that's the very essence of concept art - you make heap of sketches and then others throw half of them out, the other half is heavily modified, then modelled altenrates the modified designs and texturer gives absolutely different cholor schemes. and when you point to in-game model and proudly say: "i made it", people you know look at you in disbelief and say: "it doesnt look yours at all" :DDD
Seriously, i'd be happy if concept to in-game stuff ratio was around 10:1.

I was just thinking, some vines to hang on stuff would be useful, though I don't know how they'd be made in a way to hang correctly on most things. Could this be done?

You mean, like polygon acting like rope? (not only hanging, but also kind of "breaking" on corners?) I'm not a code guy, but I think its possible, after all, there have been games where rope has been acting (its my guess at least, I recall seeing some screenshots of Splinter Cell featuring it, but I havent played the game)

I can see tons of people noticing the Blinker for the first time and trying to poke it's eye out, lol!
The fruit tree could be used for it's own mission I think, like a relic gathering mission or something to that effect (needed to save a life, for a high level concoction/spell, etc.).
Very nice job on the flora!
