nVidia Dawn to Dusk Conference...

Hi,

Will anyone else here be going to nVidias Dawn to Dusk conference?

Craig and I will be there so perhaps we can join-up and have a few beers?

Melv, I wish I had time to go to this. I'm not too bothered about it though (kind of bored of developer conferences right now) but this is a great deal. Cheap entrance costs AND you get a decent room overnight PLUS one of the new NVidia cards.

If your anywhere near london, need a nice graphics card and have 2 days to spend, its a steal!

Sorry Melv, wish I could hook up with ya! but milestones are a-loomin!

I'll be there. Since we're all in the same hotel (i'll assume you're staying) i'm sure i'll find you.

You're far too pretty (ugly) to forget from the IGC that quick ;)

Shame Phil can't make it, would have been a laugh.

Gareth,

Did you get an email reply after payment? We haven't yet which concerns me so I rang up the booking number and they told me that we only get an email confirmation and not reservation paperwork etc. They've at least confirmed that payment has been taken.

I presume then that we'll just need to turn-up and it'll all be sorted on the day, including the hotel.

I'd be interested in seeing what you've received etc.

@Phil: It's a shame that you can't be there, it'll be a good laugh. I'm interested in what the evening do will be like as much as the day!

I tried to book a couple of days after it was first mentioned on this site, but was too late. Then a couple of days ago I missed the email asking if I was still interested so I'm not going to be there. Was quite looking forward to it as well but hopefully thats my misfortune done for this month :)

Hope you guys have a lark there, and if you feel like donating the gfx cards post them to .... :p

I got an invoice / receipt in the mail, so I presume that's good enough. No ticket or anything funky. I've got an email when some times, but I think they're just check in ones etc.

Unfortunately Craig has had to go on his own as I was working on an X-Ray machine in Heathrow Airport in London. Not exactly the safest place to be at the moment with the terrorist alerts! :(

I've seen more tanks/army/weapons over the last few days than I have so far in my life!

I'm sure Craig will enjoy it though.

That was a real shame, it was really quite a blast. I'm sure it was something that someone like yourself would have taken a lot away from. I guess Craig's told you all about it.

Once nvidia post the pictures of the 'entertainment' you'll understand what you missed ;)

A good two days, worth the two days off work definately, great fun for a techno geek like me.

I must admit the entertainment wasnt quite what I expected. I liked the fire eaters and the alien and scientists bit was quite clever, but im sure there were 'other' events people found more memorable.

Now where did I put that lollipop?

Craig,

Stop being coy, you said the breasts were great!
