Can a simple quad be a polysoup enabled object?

Can a quad (flat square plane) defined as a TSStatic with polysoup enabled lead to a crash in TGEA 1.7.1? I just converted alot of my structures to polysoup and I seem to be experiencing some heap corruption issues.
Thanks,
Alain

I'm also experiencing heap corruption issues when there's a ton of objects and framerate gets very low. If I make any progress I'll let you know. Oh, my problems are in T3d, are you in TGEA or T3d?

Could this be a problem in the Torque memory manager?

My heap corruption issues most often seem to coincide with the removal of objects from the level (in my case, ShapeBases). The more objects that are removed, the more frequently it happens. It appears this seems to be in line with this thread:www.garagegames.com/community/forums/viewthread/52829

If you can trace into OpCode and see where it dies, and post some information here, perhaps someone can help you.
