Missing Materials

I loaded up my fbx model with the XNA render component, and only the first material is displaying. There are 2 more materials, one is alpha the other not, that are not showing. They are solid colours, not textures.

Any ideas why the other two are not showing?

Do I have to define the materials first?

I finally got one of my fbx's into builder, but only the first material is showing still.

do the textures have to be 512 by 512?

I'm not using textures, but no I don't think they do. IIRC graphics cards always prefer powers of two textures.
