Bug - Explosions not rendering when player and explosion are on different sides of the waterplane.

If I stand above water and fire a rocket to explode below the waterline, I don't see the explosion unless some of the particles make it out of the water. I do see debris. In the reverse case, player underwater and explosion above, I get the same result. Only when both the player and explosion are on one side of the waterline do I see the explosion.

I've noticed this, as well as all particle effects do not render on the opposite side of the water block. I was thinking it might have been that the fog on my water block was too thick and I just wasn't seeing it, but I haven't had a chance to go back and test yet. I'll do that this evening when I get back to my home computer if no one has confirmed yet.
