Builder is flakey?

I add models to my scene, only one of which I have seen in the editor window, the rest just don't show. After a few minutes the editor just crashed on me. Also the editor's mouse control is very ... not smooth.
Is it just me? I seem to have these issues with all of GG products over several years and several computers and gfx cards.

It does not come with the source, unfortunately.

I see there isn't much support for this software either.

I guess I'm not surprised about that given it needs a key. I guess I'm not surprised at GG releasing such flakey software either. I see there isn't much support for this software either.

Thanks Filip, I was starting to think it was only me.

Next, I have to open Builder 2 or 3 times on the same project / level file before I can see anything in 3D View.
When I try to open the FPS demo in Builder, it freaks out on the camera location ( coordinates are constantly flickering as the render window shows blank gray ). I am suspicious that it may be getting confused because there are two camera renders in the full demo, and maybe it is alternating frames between the two.
Is the Torque3D Builder this flaky too?

I have been having problems getting the Builder to show a 3D view of a starter project. This seems tied to problems running a starter project from C# Express 2008. First compile gives a lot of warnings, 2nd compile succeeds but crashes on run because there is no camera, and then the 3rd or 4th clean/compile might work. Next, I have to open Builder 2 or 3 times on the same project / level file before I can see anything in 3D View.

I've given up using the builder until there is a update to fix the bugs (hopefully there will be one soon). Seems unfinished IMO. I get the same issues as everyone here. It is highly unusable at the moment.

I have no idea on Torque3D. TGEA's world editor was really flakey up until 1.8.1, but I can't speak for that version because I stopped using it prior to that.

I think I'm about to start using 1.8.1 again though, I'm so sick of writing my own engine, and I don't have that much money, it's a stretch to get TX3D, let alone T3D.

For me the 2D builder is okay, but the 3d builder causes my system to crash when I close it. Using Vista x64.
