Sprites?

Any sprite artists here? I might be working on a 2d project before hand. Looking for some 'permanent' partners.

If you have a good working game then you might find a better response for artists over in the jobs forum.

I would suggest getting a lot of the behavior coded before looking too much into graphics. I've been around a few groups that had great graphics but made almost no progress with coding. If you have a good working game then you might find a better response for artists over in the jobs forum.

@Drethon: I know, I am looking for a partner first and then getting in the coding and stuff. Because, if I cant find a trustworthy personal, I might as well not learn it.

@Jonathan Woodard: 2D Animation might be different than what I am looking for. Can you make sprites and animate them?@Drethon: I know, I am looking for a partner first and then getting in the coding and stuff. Because, if I cant find a trustworthy personal, I might as well not learn it.

What's having a trusted partner have to do with learning a skill? The fact is that in most Indie projects, people will flake out on you, no matter how hard you try. If you learn to script the behaviors, then you at least have that part of your game done, and you have a much easier time attracting people to do the art for it, because they know that you are serious (and they know their art will go straight into a functioning game).
In other words: Don't depend on others for your own advancement.
