When you submit a snapshot and it gets rejected, does the snapshot and "pending approval" get taken off the site? Just curious because I submitted one yesterday and it hasnt shown up yet nor any other snapshot, which leads me to believe it was rejected and there are no other snapshots from others pending approval.

I have one pending aproval as well... I submitted it like 4 days ago so I'll be up before you... if they ever take down this barrel picture... I mean come on, its had 2 and a half days, no ones even commented on it in 30 hours, GIVE THE REST OF US OUR TURN!

I wouldn't know.. never had a rejected snapshot, but I submitted a resource a couple of days ago(www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=3817), and my question is "how can I know if its rejected, or just not reviewed yet?" GG, you guys should really inform someone when you reject something, perhaps a short reason too.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, come on, its a nice pic, but it gets old after a couple of hours! I'd be better off just giving out the url here than waiting for that pic to come down. In fact I think I'll do that....
This is a development pic of a mobile headquarters vehicle we are designing for our game Killer 96 using the Torque engine. A detailed description is included on the large pic. Basically we begin by hand drawing a design, usually on graph paper, and then transfer it to the computer using MS Paint and a grid bitmap. This is done because the people involved in this game don't live near each other and need to send files back and forth quite often. Once the drawing and info about it has been entered in Paint, it is then modeled in 3DS MAX; however, we haven't started this yet as we are still putting things into Paint. Everything in the game is done like this, from handguns to buildings. I would appreciate some comments whether positive or negitive on this design. Also, if anyone knows how to set up WinXP to share files over the net, please send me an email. I wouldnt mind seeing yours too Eric.

Edit: The url might help....

I know they don't post concept art as the dev snapshot unless it is a really impressive piece of work. Get your vehicle modeled and in game and I'm sure they will post it.

Also.. if you submitted the red image thats at the link you posted... its way above the size limit. (limit is 640x960)

Yes, why? What I submitted was a smaller version (640x960) that was a little blurry (JPEG) and not as much info, but I had a link to that page where one could view the entire pic. http://cauldronborne.tripod.com/

We post good screenshots or shots of what we think are interesting projects. There is no way we can give rejection notices.

Eric, your project has had a lot of shots posted, and the last one just didn't show anything new. Sorry.

What constitutes "interesting" is entirely up to us and is very subjective. I have posted they type of shots we will not post, but I can't remember where it is.
